Islamabad—Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Monday forecast cold and dry weather for most parts of the country during the next 24 hours. However light rain-thunderstorm with light snowfall over the hills is expected at isolated places of Malakand division, Gilgit- Baltistan, Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas.
Cloudy weather conditions are expected in upper parts of the country during the next 24 hours. According to the synoptic situation, a fresh westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and likely to persist during the current week.

In last 24 hours weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the country. The lowest minimum temperatures recorded during the last 24 hours were Skardu -01 C, Gupis and Kalat 00 C. Meanwhile, the Quetta Met Office has forecast a dry and cold weather for the provincial capital during next 24 hours.—APP
