Cleanliness after Eid-ul-Azha

Talha Ahmed

Some citizens in various colonies, after Eid-ul- Azha, have delayed the cleaning of waste from animal slaughter which results in a gross mess in Karachi. Even after few days of the sacrifice, waste could be seen spreading a disgusting stench. Blood flowed on roads like water, which is unhygienic. Waste material is still lying on roads.
Such residents consider public roads as their private property. I would like to request the municipal authority in Karachi to keep a check on such people. We must work to keep the city clean. If we can keep our houses clean, we can also clean our neighbourhoods.
