Camps being set up in DMC South for prevention heat stroke

Camps are being set up at various places in the District Municipal Corporation (DMC) Karachi South for prevention against heat stroke.
This was stated by the Chairman of the DMC South, Malik Muhammad Fayyaz, on Thursday.
He said that at these camps shade, cold drinking water, medicines are being made available besides the deployment of paramedics for the provision of relief to the people.
Fayyaz on Thursday visited the heat stroke prevention camp at Union Council 16 Old Haji Camp. He was accompanied by Mahmood Hashim, UC Vice-Chairman Ali Sulaman Soomro, and others.
He appealed to the people to adopt preventive measures to keep themselves immuned from the effect of heat wave and in case of any symptoms immediately consult the doctors.
Fayyaz said that the heat stroke prevent campus are being set up on daily basis to help provide immediate relief in case of any emergency.—APP
