Pakistan tops the list of breast cancer cases in Asia. It is the second most deadly disease affecting the people, especially women in Pakistan. It is estimated that it kills 40,000 women per year in country. The rapid increment in figure is due to alcohol drinking, overweight and having no children.
Unfortunately, the target of the breast cancer is also the young females of 40 years and unmarried girls too. Almost, 15 per cent of the cases relate to the unmarried girls in Pakistan. Besides our government, the WHO needs to take action to control this fatal disease.
