BISE DGK officials suspended for negligence

dera ghazi khan—Administration BISE DG Khan has suspended two officials on charges of wrong result declaration of two candidates of Intermediate Part-1 annual examination 2016. According to office order issued by Assistant Secretary (Estt) BISE DG Khan, Riaz Hussain Shahid Assistant Controller (Inter) and Syed Tayyab Raza Computer Programmer (on contract basis) are suspended with immediate effect due to declaration of wrong result of Roll Nos 313537 and 303044 for Intermediate (Part-I) Annual Examination 2016.
Widespread protest of hundreds students under lead of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Friday was observed outside BISE DG Khan office. PTI leader Zartaj Gull along with workers and students strongly protested against wrong and unjust marking of papers in Intermediate Part-I Annual Examination 2016. Protesters strongly criticized BISE authorities for playing with future of students.
Protesting students alleged that most of them got quite low marks than they expected on basis of their performance in exams. They said examiners did not do justice with students and deprived them of their hard work.
A protesting student showing result of candidate namely Muhammad Umer, roll number 313537, questioned as to how student could get 88 out of 85 marks in subject Biology. Addressing protesters, PTI leader Zartaj Gull alleged that marking system of BISE, DG Khan and o r BISEs was full of flaws. She said that candidates in almost all BISEs in Punjab were facing similar problems while authorities were not listening to them.
Protesters demanded rechecking of papers without further paying any fee and new results announced. y refused option of recounting of marks.
When contacted, Deputy Controller BISE DG Khan Sh. Amjad Hussain said students having any objection could apply for rechecking as per law to address their grievances. Amjad shared that two technical mistakes in Roll Numbers 313537 and 303044.
