Karachi—Castigating the Indian Prime Minister Modi, the PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto reminded the Indian leadership that Indus Water Treaty was too clear to be mutilated, making it clear simultaneously that Islamabad would fight for every single drop of its water share from acknowledged joint water resources of the sub-continent.
“Modi can deceive his own people through staking claim to what is not India’s, but Indus Water Treaty is clear. He cannot divert world’s attention from his brutal atrocities in held Kashmir by talking about settled issues,” said Bilawal in a statement released by the party here Saturday.
Modi, he said, should take care of world famed stark poverty in his own country and stop throwing gimmicks and threats. Modi had said “the water that is flowing into Pakistan would be provided to Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Indian farmers.”
