Lahore—The Punjab government remains committed to improve pace and quality of economic development in the province. Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute on international level is being established at Lahore for medical treatment of patients at the initially cost of Rs. 4 billion allocated in FY 2016-17.
Planning & Development Sr. Chief Coordination Javed Latif said while addressing the delegation of visited 33 members of 34th mandatory training course, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province led by Liaqat Ali Khan, Coordinator and Deputy Secretary Establishment, Staff Training Institute Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at P&D Complex, Lahore.
At the briefing session on Development Projects, Sr. Chief P&D Javed Latif addressing the participants said that Punjab government was giving top priority on beautification of Lahore City while maximum funds were being utilized for the purpose. Government has now successfully completed its Land Record Management Project at all Tehsils Level. Publics were being facilitated by utilizing this electronic service through IT.
He said that under the Shaher-e-Khamoshan Project Model Graveyards in Punjab being introduced and upgraded with the cost of Rs. 200 million allocated in FY 2016-17.
