Balochistan development

Balochistan is the largest province of the country area-wise with its population located at long distances and very rich in natural resources. But still its people keep complaining about lack of basic facilities and developmental activities.
It is good to note, however, that the civil and military leadership of the country are attaching due attention and importance to address and resolve the problems faced by the people of Balochistan and remove their deprivations and at the same time undertaking development activities in different sectors to provide basic facilities and to bring this province also at par with other provinces of the country. Good work in this regard is being done but decades old deprivations will take sometime to be removed gradually.
Only a few days back, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in his maiden day-long visit to Quetta had held out firm assurance that the priority objective of the government is to address and solve the problems of Balochistan and bring it at par with other provinces and removing the feeling of deprivation and helplessness among its people. And now, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has pledged the Army’s full support for the development of Balochistan.
All what the prime minister had talked about acceleration of developmental activities in Balochistan and now the full support extended by the Army Chief for the development of the comparatively backward province are all quite commendable and augur well for our Baloch brothers and sisters. They will have to wait some more patiently as developmental activities do take time to be implemented and completed, please.
