Azadi Train reaches Havelian


Haripur—Special Azadi Train on Thursday resumed its journey to remaining parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. A large number of people including students and Railways officials warmly welcomed Azadi Train here at Taxila and Haripur Railway Stations. The historical galleries was also opened for the vistors. The visitors took keen interest in the cultural floats and six galleries of Azadi Train. The Railway stations were beautifully decorated.
Officer Incharge Azadi Train Muhammad Ali Chachar told APP that Azadi Train also visit Haveelian and later, return to Rawalpindi for night stay. The train will depart for Wazirabad and Sialkot on September 16. The visitors highly appreciated Pakistan Railways for initiating Azadi Train project, saying that our youth need to know the history and culture of the country.
Meanwhile, it is reported that the Azadi Special Train reached Havelian railway station Thursday. A large number of people including children and families warmly welcomed the Azadi Special Train and enjoyed different floats, stall and cultural galleries, which beautifully decorated on the train. In connection with the Azadi Special Train arrival, In-charge railway station Havelian advertised on social media for the locals to come and enjoy the Azadi Special Train. People also responded well and a large number reached there to commemorate the leaders of Pakistan movement. Zia Jadoon a school teacher while talking to APP said that he also brought his children to visit Azadi Special Train which would teach them about the struggle of Muslims of India, history and culture of Pakistan.—APP
