ATC hears Mashal Khan murder case

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) heard Mashal Khan murder case at the Central Jail Haripur on Wednesday amid strict security arrangements. Some 29 prosecution witnesses have so far recorded their statements and the defence counsels have crossed examined them. ATC Judge Fazal Subhan also recorded witnesses statements today.
Mashal, a journalism student at Abdul Wali Khan University in Mardan, was brutally lynched to death by a violent mob on April 13, which had accused him of blasphemy.—INP
