Khanewal—DCO Zaid Bin Maqsood has said that healthy physical activities are vital for the youth to make them responsible and productive citizens.
He was addressing the concluding ceremony of 64th annual sports activities at the Government Post-Graduate College for Boys on Sunday.
The 100-metre race was also held on the concluding day in which Muhammad Azam, a first-year student, bagged the first position, Zohaib-ur-Rehman second and Jamshed Sarwar the third. Zohaib-ur-Rehman was declared the best player of the 64th sports event.
Tug-of-war competition was held between DCO-11 and the college teachers, which the former won. A musical chair activity was also held in which Principal New Campus Malik Ehsan took the first position, Shahid Iqbal second and Abdul Ghafoor bagged the third position.
Later, DCO Zaid Bin Maqsood distributed prizes among the winners and the college staff.—APP
