Also expose Indian interference at UNGA

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif embarked upon an important visit to New York on Saturday where he would deliver speech at the annual UN General Assembly session, touching upon Kashmir dispute with particular focus on continuing state terrorism unleashed by Indian troops in the Valley. In the past also, Pakistan has raised this lingering dispute at the UNGA but given the new turn in freedom movement triggered by brutal killings by India, this year’s speech is expected to be significant. Before his departure the PM held extensive deliberations, which also took him to Muzaffarabad where he met Kashmiri leaders and sought their inputs on the matter.
As the PM may be giving final touches to his speech in consultation with top officials especially the seasoned diplomat Maleeha Lodhi, Pakistan’s permanent representative to the UN, we would suggest that apart from forcefully presenting Pakistan’s case on Kashmir dispute to which it is a party, the PM should not miss this opportunity in exposing the sordid Indian designs against Pakistan’s stability and prosperity. Last year, Maleeha Lodhi had presented dossiers to the UN Secretary General on Indian interference in Pakistan but as the world leaders would be listening to the PM, while standing at the podium of the UN, it would be more wise and apt that the PM speaks about the Indian subversive activities in Balochistan and the tribal areas. In fact, India misses no opportunity to malign Pakistan at international forums and for this purpose resorts to all sort of rhetoric and baseless allegations. It is time for Pakistan to veraciously expose the double face of India. The PM should tell the UNGA and world that Indian agents are financing terror groups to fan violence in the province of Balochistan. That India harbours nefarious designs against Pakistan become crystal clear once evidences collected from Kulbushan Yadav and Modi’s admission of extending helping hand in the creation of Bangladesh are taken into account.
