Aggression along LoC

Since the rise of Kashmir issue particularly violation of human rights in Indian Held Jammu and Kashmir and then after the Uri attack of September 18, we continue to hear news of unprovoked firing carried out by the Indian troops from across the LoC and working boundary. Constant Indian shelling caused deaths and injuries to Pak soldiers and also non-combatant population living near LoC which compelled them to migrate. Recently, cross border shelling by Indian military led 7 Pakistani soldiers to embrace martyrdom in one day only.
The Indian High Commissioner was also called to lodge protest and warned of strategic miscalculation but that is not sufficient, this deserves more condemnation. As we see Modi’s India is not cooperative in bringing peace between Pakistan and India and also the region and these violations of ceasefire could escalate tension between two countries. India needs to understand that the best and the only way to resolve their disputes is dialogue and negotiations. Moreover, the UN should take notice of human rights violations in the IHK and play it’s role in settling down issues between the two South Asian giants including the core issue of Kashmir.
