
Rs80b set for south Punjab projects
Lahore—Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Mashood Ahmed Khan said that government was utilizing all out resources for providing basic amenities to masses as well as development work in the province.
Talking to a delegation of PML-N workers at his chamber on Tuesday, he said the government has accorded special attention to less developed areas and earmarked Rs 80 billion funds for development work in south Punjab. “Mega development projects are being completed, while Daanish schools have also been set up in south Punjab areas including Bahawalnagar, Chishtian and Rahim Yar Khan”, said the Deputy Speaker, adding that improved medical facilities were being provided through mobile health units to people at their doorstep.—APP |
