Asma’s allegation

According to a news report the Ministry of Defence spokesman has expressed concern that Ms Asma Jahangir – a senior Supreme Court lawyer and human rights activist - has publicly accused the intelligence agencies of plotting to assassinate her.

This is a very serious allegation for which she instead of articulating over the media should lodge a proper complaint in a court of law and provide the necessary evidence so that the matter is properly investigated and appropriate steps taken not only to safeguard her life but also expose the elements who want to eliminate her. And, if she doesn’t do it so then there will be a big question mark about her own credibility and intentions of maligning the agencies.
