Night matchesIftikhar Alam
Through your esteemed newspaper I want to draw attention of the KESC that the “kunda” system in Saturday night matches is very common in Karachi. The comity who arranges the match they use 500 watt bulb rod for the lighting.
At least they use 15 to 20 rods for covering a little area of pitch. More over they don’t use their own electricity for this purpose they take “kunda” from the electricity polls and steal the electricity. That becomes a burden on the local residential area in the form of high electricity bills. I think this is also a big reason of load shedding. Concerned authority should male some policy about this matter. —Via email |
