Paramedics call off strike after meeting with ShahbazStaff Reporter Lahore—The Punjab paramedics have ended their one month long strike after getting assurance from Punjab government of approving their demands.
The announcement was made after conclusive talks with Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif at camp office in Minar-e-Pakistan on Sunday.
The paramedical staff staged protests across Punjab for the fulfillment of their demands including revised service structure, health professional allowance and regularisation of contract employees.

Engr. Abdul Majeed Khan, Zubair Sheikh, Dr. Muhammad Sadiq and Qayyum Nizami also spoke.
HDUs equipped with modern apparatus at LGHStaff Reporter Lahore— The High Dependency Units have been equipped with modern apparatus, serving through the website and SMS service for maximum public awareness to sensitise against viral diseases including dengue.
This was informed by Prof Dr Tariq Salah ud Din while presiding over a meeting of administration at LGH here on Sunday which was attended by Prof. Dr. Jawad Zaheer, Prof. Ghayas un Nabi Tayyab, and others.
