
Rich tributes paid to Tufail Matoo, other martyrs in IHK
Srinagar—In occupied Kashmir, APHC leader and the Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) Chairman, Zafar Akbar Butt has appealed to the imams and ulema to pray for the liberation of Kashmir and to the martyrs of 2008-2010.
Zafar Akbar Butt addressing his party activists in connection with the Martyrs’ Week programme in Srinagar said that the people of Kashmir had given matchless sacrifices for the liberation movement. He also paid tributes to all martyrs including Tufail Matoo, Zahid Farooq, Wamiq Farooq and said that India could not suppress the Kashmiris’ just struggle for securing their right to self-determination through use of brute force. The APHC leader said that if India really wanted settlement of the dispute then it should take serious and solid steps, as the dispute Kashmir was the main hurdle in cordial relations between Pakistan and India. Meanwhile, the spokesman for JKSM in a statement said that activists would delivered programmes in all districts where Molvi Mushtaq, Molvi Bashir Ahmed, Farooq Ahmed, Sarwar Ahmed, Imtiyaz Ahmed, Sabzar Ahmed, Nasee Ahmed and Zafar Akber Butt would participate.—KMS |
