Establishment has plans to murder me: Asma Jahangir

Lahore—Former President Supreme Court Bar Association, Asma Jahangir has said though the establishment planned to murder her, she would continue her mission bringing facts on the scene.

Talking to media, she said she came to know, somehow, about the plan of her murder through an insider who advised her to remain cautious and alert. Without disclosing name of the informer, she claimed the information she learned was reliable.

She said she was ready to pay any price in the vital interest of the nation and would continue her struggle for the rights of the people of Pakistan.

She said Rangers were deployed at her home on Monday late night and she was in contact with the government.

She told the newsmen that she was invited to a lawyers’ seminar and had planned to visit Ireland on Wednesday.

However, she cancelled her programme and would stay in Pakistan to give a clear message that she was not afraid of anyone, she added.—Online
