Judge hearing BB murder, Mumbai attacks cases transferred

Rawalpindi—Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) No 1 Judge Shahid Rafiq who was hearing Benazir Bhutto assassination and Mumbai attacks cases has been appointed District and Sessions judge Jhang by transferring him from ATC Rawalpindi.

According to a private TV channel, Benazir Bhutto assassination and Mumbai attacks cases were to be heard in the ATC on Tuesday but due to transferring of Judge Shahid Rafiq, the cases could not be heard.On Saturday, Investigation Officer Khalid Rasul who assumed duty to investigate the Benazir Bhutto murder case was also transferred.—INP
