Workers left at the mercy of criminals: MQM

Karachi—Altaf Hussain has expressed grief at the assassination of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) workers Asim Ahsan who was killed in his clinic in Bihar Colony & Muhammad Mansoor who was gunned down at his bangles’ shop in Mithadar area.

MQM Co-ordination Committee condemning the killings expressed grave concerns on the increasing activities of the criminals in the Metropolis. The Committee alleged that MQM workers were being eliminated while incidents of extortion, kidnapping for ransom & other activities of antisocial elements had augmented feeling of insecurity amongst citizens.

Co-ordination Committee noted that emboldened by the ‘law enforcers’ inaction’ miscreants were operating in utter contempt of law. Four people were gunned down here on Monday till filing of this piece.
