Besides, the prices of edible items also went up and one could see many frustrated customers arguing with the shopkeepers expressing their anger over the uncalled for increase.
Private tankers to ease water shortageIslamabad—In order to cope with water shortage, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to get private tankers to ensure water supply to citizens of the federal capital as daily complaints have reached 1,800. Long queues of the citizens for complaints regarding water shortage could be seen in front of CDA inquiry offices including female complainants. CDA to establish Nursing Hostel, Daycare centreSharafat Kazmi Islamabad—The Capital Development Authority (CDA) would establish a nursing school for training of paramedics and would set up a daycare centre in the Capital Hospital to facilitate the female medical practitioners of the hospital.
This was announced by the Chairman CDA, Engineer Farkhand Iqbal, while addressing a ceremony to celebrate the Nurses Day here at Capital Hospital on Friday.
