1 million Olympic tickets to go on sale FridayLondon—Olympic fans who missed out on tickets for the London Games will get another opportunity this week, including a chance of securing high-demand seats for the opening ceremony or 100-meter final. Olympic organizers said Tuesday they are putting nearly 1 million tickets on sale, with priority given to those people who were unsuccessful in previous rounds. The 23-year-old bowler was scheduled to undergo the operation on May 3, and all arrangement and appointment with the South African doctor was finalised. However, owing to visa problem, Rubel Hossain could not fly to South Africa in the first week of May.
According to the sources in Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), the visa has finallky been aprooved, though the passport, till Tuesday afternoon was not yet delivered to the bowler.
“The bowler is likely to leave for South Africa later this week (may be on Friday) and will be under knife next week”, the Dhaka-based source said to this paper.
