English Food Festival

Karachi—The purpose of diplomacy is to bring the nations together and no better way to do that is than through food. This was stated by Daniel Tarshish, the Deputy Head of Mission of the British Deputy High Commission in Karachi.

He made these remarks on the occasion of the English Food festival organized by the Pearl Continental Hotel here on Friday evening. Tarshish stated that the event would enable the Karachiites to enjoy the combination of European, British and Pakistani food.

He said that at the festival there are traditional and modern British dishes’. “ The British are very fond of Pakistani food especially Biryani”, Tarshish further remarked.—APP
