
NPC starts live music, Bar BQ nights
Islamabad—The National Press Club (NPC) Islamabad on Saturday kick started the live musical night along with Bar BQ at subsidized rates for the journalist fraternity and their families at the green lawns of the club.
In its innovative move to provide a family recreation to the journalists, the program will be arranged every evening of the week while days for the families would be fixed on rotational basis to provide an opportunity to every journalist to enjoy the evening along with the family according to his or her weekly off, President National Press Club Farooq Faisal Khan and Secretary Sheheryar Khan said in a joint news statement issued here. Three nights of a week would be dedicated for the families while these evenings would be observed on rotational basis to facilitate the working journalists and its schedule would announced separately from time-to-time, they said. The NPC President has invited all the members of the club to attend the evenings and enjoy their leisure time along their families.—APP |
