
30 tonnes of stolen railway tracks recoveredStaff Reporter
Rawalpindi—The Railway Police on Monday recovered about 30 tonnes railway tracks stolen from different sections and registered case against unknown persons under section 550.
Pakistan Railways Police spokesman told APP that acting on a tip off,Mandra police along with Motorway police stopped a truck loaded with railway tracks being shifted from Gujranwala steel mills to Pakistan Steel Mills. He said all Divisional Superintendents have been directed to report missing tracks if any in their respective areas. He said recovered tracks would be sent for chemical analysis. |
