Berlin—Pakistan and Germany on
Tuesday vowed to join hands in the fight against
terrorism and extremism besides agreeing on an
enhanced cooperation in trade, defence,
education and energy sectors.

community wants to find a federal solution to

Islamabad— Supreme Court will start hearing the
petitions against the National Reconciliation
Ordinance from Dec 7. The Chief Justice of
Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry has
set up a larger bench of the apex court to hear
the pending petitions against NRO.

30,000 more troops to Afghanistan and deploy
them within six months, US officials have said.
