Obama to deploy 30,000 more troops in Afghanistan
Seeks 10,000 extra Nato soldiers


Washington—President Barack Obama will send 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan and deploy them within six months, US officials have said. Mr Obama was scheduled to make the much-anticipated announcement as part of a speech to the nation at West Point military academy early Wednesday morning.
