Lahore—The Lahore Chamber of Commerce an
Industry (LCCI) has immediately suspended all
trade delegations to India till the resumption
of composite dialogue and urged the business
community to stop traveling to neighbouring
country. The decision was taken at an emergent
high-level meeting convened in the backdrop of
Report of Indian Task Force on National Security
and Terrorism.

Multan—Agriculture
experts have urged growers to plant tomato
nursery in production fields by the end of
November to get good yield from the third tomato
crop of this season. Media liaison unit (MLU) of
agriculture department Punjab said that watering
to tomato nursery should be stopped a week
before the shifting.
Islamabad—The
government has initiated Rs.3539.132 millions
for Smallholder Livestock Development (SLD)
project to help the poor segment of the society
for establishing sustainable income sources
specially in the rural areas. “About 400
smallholders’ livestock farms would be
established in the country which have been
designed to cater to the needs of the poor
farmers and landless livestock smallholders who
subsist on milk animals for their livelihood,”
official sources told APP.
