106 more lodges to be built for lawmakers

Islamabad—The Capital Development Authority is planning to build another 106 luxury lodges for the parliamentarians and work would be initiated after approval of PC-1 from ECNEC. According to a senior CDA official, the Authority has approved a PC-1 of the project and forwarded to the Planning Commission and once it gives green signal, the project would be launched.

Country to have first health TV channel

Islamabad—Ministry of Health has earmarked Rupees 60 million to establish a Health TV Pakistan in the first quarter of next year which will operate round the clock for the awareness of the masses. This was revealed by Federal Minister of Health in a crowded Press conference here Wednesday.

World heritage in Japan on display

Islamabad—The Embassy of Japan here Wednesday displayed a collection of 63 photos depicting ‘World Heritage in Japan’ photographed by Kazuyoshi Miyoshi at the National Art Gallery. Organized in collaboration with the Japan Foundation, the photographic exhibition will remain open till January 5th, 2010 featuring a blend of great civilizations, a plentitude of unique cultures and the natural history in the wake of four million years.
