of Islamic Ideology (CII) ended here. Topic of
the seminar was “Toward Revisiting the Debate on
Shariah: Prospects and Challenges for Pakistan”.

away and buried today in his hometown Toul Karam
in Palestine. El Salman was in hospital for two
months. A surgical operation could not save his
life. May Almighty God rest his soul in peace
and bestow His mercy and blessing on the
departed soul and his family members.

Islamabad—University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir
has decided to award honorary degree of
Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) to former Prime
Minister and senior politicians Sardar Mohammad
Abdul Qayyum Khan, official has said. The degree
would be awarded to him in a special convocation
at Kashmir House on Nov 26, arranged by
University of Azad Kashmir.
