Islamabad—The residents of the twin cities of
Rawalpindi and Islamabad have started booking in
advance of the butchers for getting slaughtering
of their sacrificial animals on the Eid-ul-Azha,
in line with the sunnah of Hazrat Ihrahim (Alaih
Slam). Demands for butchers are on the rise,
many residents are trying to hire them in
advance for slaughtering animals on the first
day of Eid ul Azha providing services to people
at their door step.
Islamabad—The
National Assembly Standing Committee on
Education Monday formed a sub-committee to
review the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT)
Private Educational Institutions Regulation and
Promotion Ordinance 2007. The sub-committee will
review the ordinance under the chairmanship of
Azra Fazal Pechuho and give recommendations to
incorporate these in the ordinance.

Islamabad—Former Petroleum Minister Anwar
Saifullah Khan Monday said he would move the
court against NAB authorities under defamation
charges for naming him as one of the NRO
beneficiaries.Addressing a press conference at
National Press Club, Anwar claimed NAB
authorities had intentionally tried to damage
his good reputation. Saifullah, who is a member
of PPP in NWFP Assembly, said he never submitted
an application seeking relief under the National
Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO).
