Kabul—President Asif Ali Zardari held
wide-ranging talks with his Afghan counterpart
Hamid Karzai here Wednesday on matters of
bilateral, regional and international concern.

Pakistan both will have to undertake joint
efforts to tackle the menace of terrorism.
Karachi—Federal Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin
said the provinces will get more resources in
National Financial Commission (NFC) while
federation will reduce its expenses. Addressing
news conference after a meeting on NFC award
here, he said the ways were being adopted so as
to convert the direction of resources towards
provinces to make them more stable financially.
The federation and provinces are showing
flexibility on NFC awards, Tarin added.

Speaking at a news conference in Quetta, he said
India is trying to defame Pakistan on an
international level by claiming its interference
in its internal affairs and support to
terrorism.
