of high achievers of Matric/Intermediate level
examinations-2009 from Balochistan arrived here
Wednesday. Provincial Education Minister Mujtaba
Shuja-ur-Rehman, Addl. Secretary (Higher
Education) Ch. Muhammad Akram, Addl. Secretary
(Schools) Ghulam Abbas Sarghana welcomed the
delegation at Allama Iqbal International
Airport.

from Pakistan Dr Noreen Zafar has been awarded
the prestigious John M. Eisenberg Patient Safety
and Quality Award. The award was conferred on Dr
Noreen along with other recipients at the

Lahore—Chief
Justice of the Lahore High Court (LHC) Justice
Khawaja Muhammad Sharif on Wednesday ordered the
DPO Okara to arrest the accused of the lawyer
and constable’s murder till December 3. The CJ
issued this order while hearing the suo motu
notice which he had taken on Tuesday on a news
of murder of a lawyer and police constable
during robbery in Okara.
Lahore—Punjab Agriculture Minister Ahmad Ali
Aulakh inaugurated Natural Products Laboratory
at Punjab University Institute of Mycology and
Plant Pathology here on Wednesday. The Institute
Director Prof. Dr. Rukhsana Bajwa briefed the
minister about preparation of different products
of Alo vera. She said the quality product
prepared in the laboratory was provided only at
Rs 300 compared with low quality product
available in the market on higher rates.
