Kamal demands funds restoration

Karachi —The government has freezed the funds of union council causing great hardship for the city district government especially on the occasion of Eid ul Azha.  City Nazim Syed Mustasfa Kamal raising a strong voice over what he called the inappropriate for Government to freeze the union council’s funds on the eve of Eid-ul-Azha. There is a possibility that it would possibly affect their performance in timely lifting of millions of offal of sacrificial animals.

Pak Navy makes constant reviews: CNS

Karachi—Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Noman Bashir says the challenges at hand necessitate a constant review of Pakistan Navy’s operational plans through extensive exercises and brain storming. IBA research activities

Karachi—The most neglected area in the education and other areas of economic significance is the research and development in Pakistan as the funds allocated for this purpose are consumed in salaries and other expenditures. The Standard Chartered Bank has however taken a lead in that direction by providing funds to IBA specifically for research purposes and to enhance quality of faculty members.
