Peshawar—The NWFP Chief Minister Ameer Haidar
Khan Hoti has strongly condemned the blasts at
Khyber Road Peshawar Cantt and Police Station
Bakakhel in Bannu District and held it cowardice
acts of the terrorists who are out to avenge
their defeat from the innocent people. The Chief
Minister also visited the site of the blast near
Army Stadium Peshawar Cantt and expressed
solidarity with the respective officials.
Sialkot—Pakistan Muslim League (N) has urged the
government to ensure the early recovery of the
big loans from the big influential personalities
of the country, which they had already got
written off politically. Talking to the
Pakistan Observer at Sialkot city here, PML(N)
Arif Khawer said that the early recovery of the
said written off big loans was vital for making
the country stable economically. He said that
these billions of rupees (to be recovered from
the influential) should be spent on the social
welfare and development oriented projects in the
larger interest of the people.
Peshawar—NWFP Minister for Information, Mian
Iftikhar Hussein has urged the Pakistan Army for
initiating of targeted action against the
fleeing terrorists from South Wazirisitan Agency
in other tribal areas along with continuation of
the action to prevent further destruction. He
expressed these views while addressing the
participants of Qur’aan Khwani for the martyres
of Charsadda bomb blast here at Bacha Khan
Markaz on Friday. Those present on the occasion
were included provincial ministers Syed Aqil
Shah, Barrister Arshad Abdullah, members’
provincial assembly Shakeel Bashir Umerzai,
Fazal Shakoor, provincial general secretary ANP,
Tajuddin Khan and provincial secretary
information ANP, Arbab Mohammad Tahir.
Mirpur—The High Court Bar Association of
Indian-held Jammu & Kashmir is organizing an
International Conference on Kashmir issue in
Srinagar on Nov 15 to explore various ways and
means to settle Kashmir issue in accordance with
the wishes and aspirations of the people of
Jammu and Kashmir, it was disclosed here Friday.
Mian Abdul Qayoom, President of the occupied J &
K High Court Bar Association stated in his
invitation letter to various leading politicians
of AJK on Friday that the scheduled conference
would review the on-going resistance movement
besides chalking out future strategy. In this
effect, the Indian occupied J&K Bar Association
invited a cross section of people from the
various part of Jammu and Kashmir including Azad
Kashmir besides India and Pakistan.
Hyderabad—Peoples Youth Organisation
and Sindh Peoples Students Federation (SPSF)
have jointly announced to take out a “Pakistan
Khappey Rally” on November 23, from Larkana to
Karachi. Addressing a news conference here at
the Circuit House on Thursday evening, the
Advisor to Sindh Chief Minister and President
Peoples Youth Organisation Sindh Aajiz Dhamra,
President Sindh Peoples Students Federation
Suhrab Mari and President Peoples Youth
Organisation Hyderabad Division Ahsan Abro said
that the rally will start from the Mazar of
Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto on November 23, and
terminate at the Mazar- e- Quaid, Karachi.
