Lahore—Pakistan Cricket Board has appointed
stylish batsman Muhammad Yousaf as the captain
of the Pakistan team for the test series against
New Zealand,giving rest to outgoing crisis
ridden captain Younis Khan. Yousaf has been
appointed captain for the three-test series
commencing in New Zealand from November 24, said
Chairman, PCB, Muhammad Ijaz Butt when contacted
on phone by APP in Dubai on Wednesday.
Islamabad—A four-member Pakistan Snooker team
will embark to India on Thursday to participate
in the IBSF Snooker Championship 2009 to be
staged at Hyderabad, India, from November 15 to
25. As per our policy, Pakistan No. 1 Mohammad
Sajjad and No. 2 Mohammad Asif will feature in
the annual spectacle,” President Pakistan
