Karachi—Hematologists and pathologists have
sought mandatory provision for reliable
alternative power supply at all blood banks and
laboratories in the country. Talking to APP,
they urged stringent implementation of this very
provision coupled with necessary announcement of
scheduled hours for load shedding being resorted
in different parts of the country. They observed
that many of the laboratories and blood banks
with no backup support system are exposed to
serious deficiencies, extremely hazardous to
public health.

recovered 363 Kg finest quality ‘Charas’ from
the hidden parts of a truck C-5463, whose worth
in International market has reported to be Rs.
36 Crore and also held the truck driver.
According to details Excise Police Obarro on tip
of cordoned off the area of Excise Check post
Kummo Shaheed and during checking recovered
approximately 365 Kg finest quality Charas from
the hidden parts of a truck registered in Kohat
C-5463 and also detained truck driver Khalid
Khan and his conductor Ghulam Sarwar.
Karachi—So far 1365 candidates out of 2814
who appeared in the Entry test for admission to
six different engineering disciplines at Sir
Syed University of Engineering and Technology
have been interviewed during the last two days.
In all 3079 candidates had got themselves
registered with the university for admission in
4-year Bachelor Degree courses of Computer,
Bio-Medical, Electronics, Civil and
Telecommunication Engineering and Computer
Science.
Karachi—Sindh Law Minister Mohammed Ayaz
Soomro has said that he is satisfied with the
performance of government lawyers but there is
need to improve it further to achieve 100
percent results. Presiding a meeting of the
officials of Law Department, the Minister said
that by recruiting law officers, the present
government has overcome the shortage of
government lawyers in all the courts and there
is not a single court left without a government
prosecutor.
