Peshawar—NWFP Chief Minister Ameer Haidar Khan
Hoti has stressed on declaring the province war
ragged and urged the Federal Government for
approval of package for business community of
the province. Moreover, the chief minister also
asked for provision of more and more relief to
the province in gas load management. He
expressed these views while addressing a
representative jirga of industrialists and
business community of Peshawar here at Chief
Minister’s House Peshawar on Tuesday. Senior
Provincial Minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour,
Minister for Health Syed Zahir Ali Shah,
Minister for Sports Syed Aaqel Shah and
Provincial Minister for Information Mian
Iftekhar Hussain also addressed the
representative jirga.
Peshawar—Following
series of bomb blast at the provincial capital,
Capital City Police Peshawar on Tuesday further
strengthened security in and around city while
additional police force deployed at all entry
and exit pointes. Capital City Police Peshawar
taking down to earth measures have deployed
additional police contingent at all important
places while all schools, markets and public
places will be monitored by police dressed in
plain clothes to avoid any untoward incident.
Barbed wire are placed at all important
highways.
Peshawar—The newly elected President of the
Supreme Court Bar Association Qazi Mohammad
Anwar Advocate called on the NWFP Minister for
Law, Human Rights and Parliamentary Affairs,
Barrister Arshad Abdullah at the latter’s office
in Peshawar on Tuesday. He remained with the
Minister for some time and discussed matters of
mutual interest with special focus on legal
matters.
Hyderabad—Sindh Education
Minister Pir Mazhar- ul- Haq has said that out
of seven thousand closed schools, the present
government has succeeded in reopening of three
thousand schools in different parts of the
province. Efforts are being made to reopen the
remaining schools at the earliest, he added.
Sialkot—The Sialkot Junction Railway Station,
established , which was established 102 years
ago in British Regime , was presenting a shabby
look now-a-days due to the alleged slackness of
the concerned officials of Pakistan Railways(PR).
People of the view that the PR authorities were
not giving no little weight to the vice of
business community, industrialists and general
public , who continuously demanding to improve
the condition of this neglected railway station.
People told that the ancient building of Sialkot
railway station was present a look of Ghost
Banglow , as the trains plying of different
routs have already been closed by the concerned
PR authorities with the alleged malpractice of
the owners of the bus and wagon stands in
Sialkot.
