Disqualification reference against 8 MLAs

Islamabad—The newly formed Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has decided to file a disqualification Reference against eight members of the Legislative Assembly for violating the party discipline and forming the Friends Group. Highly informed sources in the AJK Government told INP news agency on Sunday that Speaker of the Assembly would be requested to disqualify the eight members including former Prime Miinster Sardar Yaqub. Services of legal experts have been hired to prepare the Reference against these members and they are expected to finalize the reference in the next few days.
