Peshawar—NWFP Chief Minister Ameer Haidar Khan
Hoti has warned that use of substandard material
in construction work of developmental schemes
would not be tolerated and the provincial
government can’t bear the loss to national
resources. He expressed these views while
talking with different delegations here at his
office. Members of the delegations apprised the
chief minister about the progress and the
problems confronting in developmental projects
of their respective areas.

inhabitants of Sama Badabera in the Janakor area
and seven Jawaki villages in the Sharekira area
of FR Peshawar, the political authorities
installed 100 community drinking water hand
pumps for providing fresh drinking facility.
Sialkot—Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema Regional Police
Officer (RPO) Gujranwala Region has asked the
police officials to adopt leniency, morality and
good aptitude to the needy, poor and oppressed
people for ensuring them the early justice,
saying that there is no doubt that the good
aptitude of police towards the justice seeking
people could be helpful in minimizing the
tension of the oppressed people. He said that
under the present scenario of the society the
early restoration of public confidence on police
is also direly needed for promoting the good
policing.

Nankana Sahib—A gang of dacoits looted a
marriage party and grabbed gold and cash worth
thousands of rupees late Thursday night near
here. According to family sources,a marriage
party of constable,Saifullah of chak 4 GB,tehsil
Nankana Sahib, was coming back from Faisalabad
when they were waylaid by a gang of seven
dacoits armed with weapons.They snatched 10 Tola
gold ornaments, cash worth Rs 50000,over a dozen
cell phone sets, besides other valuables.
