Gilani has urged all political parties to joint
hands for supremacy of the parliament and
building of the institutions. Speaking in the
National Assembly Thursday, he asked
parliamentarians to come out with sound and
solid proposals for improving governance and the
Government would amenable to consider them.

Association (SCBA) Aitizaz Ahsan has said that
President Asif Ali Zardari is protected by the
constitution and he cannot be summoned in any
court. Talking to media persons outside
the Supreme Court building on Thursday, he said
that constitution is provided the same rights
and powers to heads of states across the world.
