further development of various breeds of buffalo
in Asia which warrants further enhanced
proactive role from international and national
development agencies.

and Mohammad Nawaz Sharif are pursuing their
personal agendas and they had never met for
resolution of issues confronted to the country
and nation.
Lahore—Capital City Police Officer Muhammad
Pervez Rathore has ordered strict checking of
passengers at bus stands and railway stations,
besides ensuring the screening of their luggage.
He said transport owners should be asked to
ensure complete checking of passengers before
boarding. He appealed to the general public not
to mind checking and screening which was
necessary for their own safety.
Lahore—Minister for Population Welfare Punjab,
Neelam Jabbar Ch. has said that health,
education, law and order and other sectors faced
a decay during the eight years of dictatorship.
She said that medical facilities were available
to influential people under the last regime and
these people were availing free medicines and
treatment facilities in government hospitals at
all levels. However, she said that by increasing
the health budget by 37 percent, the present
government has ensured modern health facilities
and free medicines as well as air-conditioning
in general wards to poor and resource less
people.
Lahore—Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court
(LHC) Justice Khawaja Muhammad Sharif, in the
light of decision of the Government reversing
the clock by one hour, has ordered to observe
the following timings by the Principal Seat and
Benches and Civil and Sessions Courts in Punjab
from November 2.
