Karachi—The Sindh Government set a history
when some 467 left over members of Karachi Press
Club (KPC) were handed over allotment orders of
residential plots in the KPC’s Hawksbay Housing
Society here Tuesday. It was for the third time
in the governments of Pakistan Peoples Party
that journalists were given plots to have them a
shelter for them and their families under the
Shaheed Bhutto’s slogan of “Roti, Kapra aur
Makan”.

sources, the police and rangers have been put on
high alert in Karachi while heavy contingents of
two security forces have been deployed in many

Town, Quaid-e-Azam Mausoleum and Saddar area.

concerned officials to implement the government

Karachi—The University of Karachi on Tuesday
announced the result of LL.B. Part-I Annual
Examination 2009. According to statistics, 892
candidates appeared in the examination out of
which 439 were declared successful with a pass
percentage of 49.22. A Karachi University
statement on Tuesday said that the marks
certificates are being issued to students.
