Israel was out to drop N bomb on Gaza: Erdogan

Islamabad—Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has revealed that Israel had threatened to use nuclear weapons against Gaza Palestinians during its last onslaught against the Palestinian population.

According to an interview published on Monday by British daily, The Guardian, Turkish PM said that Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman had warned to use nuclear weapons against the Palestinians.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan rebuked Lieberman over the nuclear threat regarding the Gaza Strip but downplayed the tension between Turkey and Israel.

The comments by Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan was reported at a time when tension between Ankara and Jewish state was increasing following Ankara’s decision to cancel a multi-national air exercise in which Israeli air forces was also invited.

The tension between Turkey and Israel worsen when Ankara refused to take off a television drama that depicts Israeli soldiers killing Palestinian children.
