Peshawar—NWFP Chief Minister Ameer Haidar Khan
Hoti has said there was no room for terrorism in
any religion of the world and no one would be
allowed for massacre of innocent people, and
destruction of schools, hospitals, institutions
and private property. The Provincial Government,
he said, together with the Federation and Pak
army is committed for rooting out terrorism from
every nuke and corner of the province. He was
addressing participants of a gathering organized
in honor of officers of Emergency Response Unit
(ERU), national and international welfare
organizations and volunteers at Chief Minister
House on Monday.
Peshawar—Due to necessary repair and maintenance
work power supply will remain suspended from 132
KV Peshawar City Grid Station on 27th & 28th
October from 0900 am to 100 AM, resultantly
short interval temporary load management will be

Lahore—Funeral prayers of Huma Wasim, wife of
former Pakistan cricket captain Wasim Akram, who
died at the Apollo Hospital Chennai (India) on
Sunday, were offered in the Defence area here on
Monday. Later, the deceased was laid to rest in
a local graveyard amid tears in the eyes of
family members and friends of Wasim Akram.
