Closure of colleges causes financial crunch to daily wage teachers

Islamabad—Daily wage teachers in the educational institutions of twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad are concerned that the recent closure of colleges will cause them financial hardship as they will not be paid for the days during which no classes were held. These teachers are already braving tough conditions and living with a sense of insecurity as their services are still to be regularised.

NH&MP officer saved Lahore by sacrificing life

Islamabad—An officer of Motorway Police saved Lahore from a big terrorism act by sacrificing his life, whereas one terrorist was arrested alive.  According to spokesman Police and intelligence agencies informed that two vehicles moved from filled with explosives may target Islamabad or Lahore. Therefore, the NH&MP may have a strict watch. The Suzuki Alto No.BA-1233 silver grey colour was kept under observation for for quite some time.

Ministry to initiate youth welfare projects: Shahid

Islamabad—Minister for Youth Affairs, Shahid Hussain Bhutto has said that the ministry would launch various youth welfare projects including Activities Centers all over the country, induction of youth in NVM at district level, Youth funds and loan project, Vocational Training Institute, sport grounds for youth.

IJP road to be completed in 2 months

Islamabad—IJP road repair and construction work from 9th Avenue to Faizabad would be completed within two months. Spokesman Capital Development Authority (CDA) said here on Sunday that there is a heavy load of trucks on IJ Principle road which damages it. To avoid this problem CDA started construction of separate lane for trucks which would be completed within two months”, he added.
