upgrade their comprehensive strategic
partnership and intensify political, economic
and trade cooperation.
Quetta—Education Minister Balochistan Shafiq
Ahmad Khan has been murdered in broad daylight
on Sunday by unidentified culprits. Shafiq Ahmad
Khan was a diehard PPP leader. After the attack
he was taken to civil hospital and was
pronounced dead. The assailants who were riding
on motorcycle escaped from the scene of
occurrence. Shafiq Ahmad received four bullets
in the head fired by the assailants stated to be
expert marksmen.

Islamabad—President Asif Ali Zardari has said
that those involved in the heinous terrorist
attack in Sistan Province of Iran were the
enemies of both the countries who did not want
relations between them to flourish.
Talking to Iranian Interior Minister Mostafa
Muhammad Najjar who called on him at the

said that such incidents should not be allowed
to cast their shadow on the friendly relations
