Peshawar—The NWFP Governor Owais Ahmed Ghani has
strongly condemned the suicide bomb blast near
Police Investigation Cell at Peshawar Cantt on
Friday and described it a highly cowardly act of
terrorism. He has also expressed his deep grief
and sorrow over the loss of precious lives.
Peshawar—The vice chancellor NWFP UET Syed
Imtiaz H Gilani paid a visit to the Industrial
Engineering Department (IED) here Friday. The
chairman Industrial Engineering Department,
Prof. Dr. Iftikhar Hussain made a presentation
and raised issues relating to accreditation by
the Pakistan Engineering Council.

Mirpur —Medical
experts in a National Seminar Friday said that
around 7000 new cases of Tuberculoses (TB) are
registered every year in Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK)
and emphasized that media could play vital role
to fight against the disease of (TB) till its
complete eradication from the country including
AJK. The seminar was jointly arranged by
National TB control Program of the Ministry of
Health Pakistan, District Health Office Mirpur
and the Ad-group, a reputed advertising group of
national fame of Pakistan on “ Role of Media to
stop TB through raising awareness among the
masses” about the drastic affects of the
epidemic to human health.
