KESC disconnection, recovery drive goes on

The Karachi Electric Supply Company under its on-going aggressive recovery drive, has decided to disconnect electricity supply to some major non-paying consumers from public sector, including three Town offices. Religious institutions, which have not paid their bills, have also been sent disconnection notices.

Robbers arrested

Karachi—Karachi police have arrested three dacoits and recovered arms from their possession during a raid in block 2 and 6 of PECHS City, in the jurisdiction of Ferozabad Police Station, police said Friday. According to police, the raid was made as part of special drive against increasing street crimes.
