PU waives off educational expenses of IDPs students

Lahore—Punjab University has waived off one-year education expenses including fees, dues, boarding and lodging of its students (IDPs) belonging to Swat, Lower and Upper Dir, Malakand Agency, Shangla and Buner.

LHC constitutes bench to hear petition

Lahore—Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday constituted a division bench to hear two identical petitions challenging the holding of two offices by President Asif Ali Zardari. The petitioner A K Dogar in his petition stated that according to the constitution, president of the country should be undisputed and he must stay apart from the politics especially of one political party.

Lahore—Government College for Elementary Teachers (GCET) Kot Lakhpat here Wednesday arranged an impressive ceremony to mark the ‘Salam Teacher Day’.
